Es gibt Momente im Leben, die weit mehr sind als eine persönliche Auszeichnung – sie stehen für den Sinn von dem, was man tut, für eine Vision, eine tief empfundene Verantwortung.

Ein unvergesslicher Moment auf Sardinien

Am 26. April 2025 durfte ich bei den Love Travel Awards in Sardinien den Preis als "Best Destination Wedding Planner" entgegennehmen. Und ich bin noch immer überwältigt.

Der Abend war etwas ganz Besonderes: Hunderte Kolleg:innen aus der internationalen Hochzeitsbranche, ein elegantes Gala-Dinner, eine Bühnenshow – und viel Glamour.

Die Bühne war hoch, und ich dachte mir: „Wenn ich tatsächlich gewinne und eine Rede halten darf, dann ist das wirklich ein großer Moment …“
Auch hier hat mich das Leben eingeladen, meine Komfortzone zu verlassen.
Und ich sagte mir: „Ich kann das.“

Dann war es soweit:
„And the winner is … ELISABETH CARDICH!“

Gänsehaut. Zitternde Hände. Weiche Knie. Ein langer Weg bis zum Mikrofon – und doch war ich ganz da. Ich habe diesen Moment bewusst erlebt und gefeiert.
Ich habe mich selbst geehrt – und war (und bin) unendlich stolz auf mich.

Die LOVE TRAVEL AWARDS

Die Love Travel Awards gehören zu den renommiertesten internationalen Auszeichnungen der Hochzeits- und Romance-Travel-Branche.
Einmal im Jahr kommen die weltweit führenden Planer:innen, Hoteliers und Spezialist:innen zusammen, um außergewöhnliche Leistungen zu ehren – und den wahren Kern unserer Arbeit zu würdigen: die Liebe.

Dass ich in diesem Rahmen als beste Destination Wedding Plannerin ausgezeichnet wurde – gewählt von Kolleg:innen aus aller Welt – bedeutet mir mehr, als Worte je ausdrücken könnten.

In meiner Dankesrede habe ich gesagt:

„Wir als Destination Wedding Planner leisten Außergewöhnliches, um bedeutungsvolle Erlebnisse für Paare, ihre Familien und ihre Gäste zu schaffen.
In einer Welt voller Chaos und negativer Schlagzeilen sind wir der Gegenpol – wir arbeiten mit Liebe, Schönheit und Emotion. Wir bringen Balance.
Unsere Verantwortung ist heute größer denn je: Wir gestalten mit der Kraft der Liebe – und genau darin liegt der tiefere Sinn unserer Arbeit.“

Für alle Badass-Miracle-Maker da draußen

Diese Auszeichnung ist nicht nur ein beruflicher Meilenstein – sie ist eine Erinnerung daran, warum ich tue, was ich tue.
Und sie gehört all jenen Badass-Miracle-Makern, die – so wie ich – mit ganzem Herzen für die Liebe arbeiten und diese Welt zu einem besseren Ort machen wollen.

Ein ganz besonderer Dank gilt all den Menschen, die gemeinsam mit mir Träume verwirklichen, mich inspirieren und meine Vision von einem besseren Business und Leben für Hochzeitsdienstleister:innen mittragen.

There are moments in life that are far more than personal achievements – they represent the very purpose behind what we do. A vision. A deep sense of responsibility.

A Night to Remember in Sardinia

On April 26, 2025, I had the incredible honor of receiving the "Best Destination Wedding Planner" award at the Love Travel Awards in Sardinia. And honestly – I’m still overwhelmed.

The evening was truly something special: hundreds of colleagues from the international wedding industry, an elegant gala dinner, a beautiful stage show – and so much glamour.

The stage was tall, and I remember thinking: “If I actually win and have to give a speech, this will be something big …”
Once again, life invited me to step outside my comfort zone.
And I told myself: “I can do this.”

Then the moment came:
“And the winner is… ELISABETH CARDICH!”

Goosebumps. Shaky hands. Weak knees. A long walk to the microphone – and yet I was completely present.
I embraced and celebrated that moment.
I honored myself – and I was (and still am) incredibly proud.

The Love Travel Awards are among the most prestigious international accolades in the wedding and romance travel industry.
Each year, the world’s leading planners, hoteliers, and specialists gather to recognize exceptional work – and to celebrate the true heart of what we do: love.

To be named Best Destination Wedding Planner, voted by peers from around the globe, means more to me than words can ever express.

In my acceptance speech, I said:

“As destination wedding planners, we do extraordinary work to create meaningful experiences for couples, their families, and their guests.
In a world filled with chaos and negativity, we are the counterbalance – working with love, beauty, and emotion.
We bring light. We bring harmony.
Our responsibility has never been greater: to make a lasting impact through the power of love. That is the deeper purpose of what we do.”

For All the Badass Miracle Makers

This award isn’t just a professional milestone – it’s a reminder of why I do what I do.
And it belongs to every single badass miracle maker out there who, like me, works wholeheartedly for love – and strives to make this world a better place.

A heartfelt thank you to those who bring dreams to life with me, who uplift and inspire me, and who share my vision of a better business and a better life for wedding professionals.
